I had a Reese controller and took it off. I now run a Voyager like it much better. The Reese was too slow too fast always needing adjusted depending on load. The voyager acts based on how fast you are stopping and works much better, esp in a panic stop or a slow stopping stituation. Basicly the same money to buy.

I would check in the glovebox and see iof you have the wireing harness for the controller. if not then get one off of chevy dealer.
