An IH 806 or 706 Diesel Would be good choice, as for a HP rating an 806 Diesel runs at about 90HP@the pto which is enough to pull a 4 or 5 bottom plow. Now a 706 is rated between 78 and 82 pto HP, Both modles are good tractors, and are great tractor to do general farm work with. Also and IH856, Or even an 866,966 or even an 886 IH would be a good starter tractor for general farming work. All of these machines can be had for under 12,000$.
