Get what ever is common to your area! The IH 60 - 100 HP line would be great except for the 706 (I believe this one was a problem child). I would even add the 666, 686 to this. Oliver has some good ones 15xx, 16xx, 17xx, and 18xx Don't forget ford the blue 5XXX, 7XXX, and 8XXX servies. Not too sure about the MF's and AC's as their aren't too many in my neck of the woods. I've left out John Deer that also makes great tractors but they are more expensive. The 30X0 or 40X0 would be a perfect fit also. As for the small 4X4 tractors, the price performance of a used IH966, Oliver 1855 or Ford 8600 at will out perform any 27hp Kobota for what your doing for about the same money or less. Even the smaller IH686, Oliver 1655, Ford 5600 will still be a better investment. All the tractors I mentioned are Row Crop tractors and designed for field work. They all have constant PTO's, and have been doing this work for years. The smaller Kobota's even JD's and Yanar's don't have constant PTO's that will make cutting & Bailing Hay more difficult. Finally, Get ROPS protection, The uneven ground can be dangerious. Good luck, Talk to the local farmers to see what they like.
