I agree with RKS. If you plan to move anything substantial with a front-end loader, you're going to want a "real' tractor, and not just a garden tractor. It sounds like you might be looking at something similar to what I have - an IH-340. Mine is a 1960 model Utility version (with wide front end). It has approx. 34 hp. with a front end loader. I like this animal. This past week-end I had to show up my neighbor's Melrose Bobcat (6000 lbs.). He had 3 large tree stumps he couldn't budge with the Bobcat. That old 340 had no trouble moving those stumps to exactly where he wanted them.
