Ever have this happen to you? During a discussion of tractors, someone comes forward and offers to give you a tractor? I had a friend at church offer to give me a "old" tractor her dad had. When questioned about the model, she only knew it was red and smaller than my old F-20. I told her I would go take a look at it. I just got through with rebuilding a 46 B and was looking for another project. She gave directions to "the barn" about 10 miles out in the sticks. My son and I drove out to "the barn" to see what this "little, red tractor" might be. Being a Farmall addict, I was really expecting to see a MF. We parked beside the road, went thru the gate and rolled the barn door open. At first we didn't see anything. Then way over in the corner, there it was.............. The prettiest little Farmall CUB you could ask for. It even had a belly mower on it. On the other side of the barn was all type of equipment for this little jewel --cultivators, planters, even a blade. I went back to town to see this fine woman. I told her thank you for the tractor. I wrote her a check for the "little, red tractor". My question to you is......how much would you have given her? jmh
