Phil, First off, Both are good tractors. The Deere is pretty much a bullit proof tractor. The tractor should have had all JD up dates, primarily the secondary (bypass) oil filter, in addition the the regular one on the engine, The double lever Quad is a very good tranny also. Axles are good too. The Stiger also is a good tractor. But is a compoent tractor, engines by cat, cummins, trannys by allison if my memory hasn't failed me, axles by Clark. A clutch can be replace in a Stiger in about 5 hrs.A Deere it is almost unhear of to have clutch trouble its a oil bath (wet) as oppose to the (dry) in the Stieger, You didn't mention if bothe had duals, I would hope so. Also I wouldn't own a 4x4 that didn't have a catIV 3 pt hitch. So if all is eueal and the only real difference is price, then which dealer is closest, If equal, which dealer is easier to get along with, more accomidating! There is a lot of difference in 18K amd 32K. So if all is equal ......go with the cheaper price. I think you left out some important information for us to know,to aid in our opinion. I will say now go with the Deere! Later, John A.

A good friend and I were recently discussing our tractor electrical systems when he stated "I figure it all comes back to applying Ohms Law". At this point
