Thanks for the suggestions. I am a great believer in updating my posts. Looked around here in NC and it is amazing how expensive tractors are for what you get especially with the popular models such as John Deer, Ford, Massy, and so on. You would think different with the demise of the Tobacco Program With your suggestions, easy on off, get a diesel and so on, I got a tractor called a Mahandra. It is somehow affiliated with International and in fact uses an International design for their engines. Has 45 hp, a diesel, only 225 hours, front end loader and a 7 foot bush hog for $11,000 delivered. There are several dealerships within 50 miles. I have read that they are very heavy duty tractors. Thanks again.

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead!
