Nothing like a Ford 8N or a horse to make a fool out of you. It was a fuel problem. I replaced the coil anyway. The fuel problem was it was empty but I could not tell from the way it looked when I looked in the tank (I used a flashlight not a match, I'm not hat dumb.) I now have a stick to measure fuel level. At least all the screens and the bowl are now clean. I expect to hear the chortling either on line or off. Thanks for your help. Is an indicator cap available for these things? Next week, carb adjustment. Stay tuned for the trials and tribulations.
