A little more about the water leak. The tractor is an Oliver model 80. It is stored under cover. It has anti-freeze in the oil so it is not condensation. The engine was rebuilt but they could not get it running after they rebuilt it 12 years ago. The mag was bad and they lost interest. Through the inspection plates on the side you see that the sleeves still look like new and have no wear. I was wondering if there was seal for the sleeves that could cause the leak. It did not leak all summer when I start the tractor once a week or so but after sitting around this winter it has leaked again. It seems strange that it did not leak any all summer. I guess warming it up on occasion seals something. For some reason I think the leak has something to do with this farmers engine rebuild.
