I am trying add some hydraulics to a contemporary JD790, but have discovered that the 3/4" (SAE-8) banjo hydraulic fitting ends it uses are not readily available anywhere in the US. I wondered if these fittings were common on any of the older tractors? Is there a vintage source I could be looking for that might have these? I can buy complete hydraulic lines from JD to get the fittings and un-braze them, but the cheapest line works out to about $40 a fitting. If I really have to, I can fabricate these, but I was hoping to find a source to save that work. Any thoughts?
