I spent quite a bit of time last summer researching Pullmore clutches and sources of parts. Your best bet for a decent price on the clutch plates would be to contact North American Clutch and Driveline. I spoke with a gentleman there named Mike Larson. If I remember correctly you can do a lot better than the price you mentioned. If there are enough parties interested in a group buy, you might even get a volume discount. Overhauling the gearbox is no big deal. I had to overhaul mine due to the forward drive gear fingers being sheared off. Last owner liked to bush hog with the mower. Anyway, I think it took about 3 hours to get the box back together. If you have questions let me know. Good Luck. Kurt
