Ford 4100 problems

Hi, I have a Ford 4100 that starts and runs excellently, but I noticed recently that it"s spitting oil out the exhaust. What is this a symptom of? Also, I was discussing this with a mechanic and he said the size of the job would depend on whether or not the engine is sleeved. Does the 4100 have sleeves?
