Had two Orange Tiger Tabby Cats, twin brothers, One died 3 years ago, at age 15 of liver failure. My daughter brought home a Feral Kitten from a farm, at first I did not agree, But he constantly keeps, the remaining Cat, who is 17 going on eighteen going. My point in my case is having a young cat, gave the older cat something to keep up with and teach. Never thought that would happen. Good luck, treat the dog well in his golden years.
