For a 15 acre pasture I own, I let a guy use it for free..... In exchange he keeps all fences maintained, bush-hogs it, & as I told him "takes care of it like it is his" He puts out fertilizer & nitrogen every year. I agreed to give him a six months notice if I ever decide to sell it or ask him to vacate it. That way , he would not get stuck with a bill for fertilizer..... He is a good guy, I have known him for years, I trust him to take care of it...
