My M will out pull my 77 any day of the week. I do have my M set up with dual tires and weighted to almost 7500#. It pulls a 16 foot JD hydro disk rather well. The oliver weighs in at just a shade under 4000# and won't pull the disk. Although the 77 runs out of traction, it still doesn't have the lugging torque that the M does.
