I got so fed up with the neighbor going through my place (ignoring signs, too) that I finally put posts in front of the gate he was using. He can still get through by walking, but driving has been stopped. Do like some of the others have said, put something there that will cause flat tires---at least, it's not lethal. We do have laws here in Texas that will allow the use of deadly force to protect your property, but, unless I felt personally threatened, I wouldn't go that route. Frustrating as it might be, I think your best option is to call the law whenever someone trespasses, and put up some type of barrier to discourage them coming in. Too bad some people have lost their manners over the years.....
