I checked the shop manual again and it does not mention the "T" mark on the flywheel. The Honda shop manual leaves a lot of details to ones imagination. The diamond marks for crankshaft timing are both at the 12 oclock position, one on the crank pulley and one the block just above crank pulley and behind the flywheel. It has been over two years since I had the flywheel off to remove the starter and I have forgotten some of the details about marks on the flywheel. My best guess would be to position the "T" on the flywheel at 12 oclock and align the camshaft marks. My timing belt was off by one cog at one time due to a mouse nest in the timing belt housing which went around thru the pulleys. The engine would still run, but not real well.
