Might help, then again, might not.
Clear the trouble code by pulling the fuse(s) marked ECM(might be 2 of them) for 30 seconds. Can also do this by removing battery cable, but then would have to reprogram radio/clock.
Next, there are 2 things some drivers do that trigger this code.
1-leaving the engine running while refueling, or turning the key on to watch gauge/listen to radio. This will upset the vaccuum readings while the senser is powered up.
2- not putting the cap on tight. You should feel the "ratchet" in the cap click twice. Just "snug" is not enough, must feel the ratchet click. Many people forget this.
No guarrantee that this is the problem, but is simple to check, only takes a couple minutes, and costs nothing if it happens to be the problem.
