I like the idea ALOT. As already mentioned the TALERS do this now. Maybe consider this as a twist given the distances some of live from one another -
make it a regional event then an annual event at KIM's place since she is the one that has enabled these great friendships. i.e. NW, SE, NE, SW which should permit our Canadian brethern to join in for the Northern Tier. From there establish an annual at Kim's or somewhere in the middle like say KANSAS - oooh, Toto, I'm coming :)! Maybe every 3rd yr. make the annual event a trek across the pond to Europe for those friends. Just thinking out loud, unfortunately I will only be able to attend regional event(s) NW & SE then annually as $$ permit.
