"I can't complain, but some times I still do"
Joe Walsh.

Bored, I have the perfect job. I'm really lucky as I never though I would have a job where I make the money I do and still have time to do a lot of the things I like to do. I'm a firefighter-paramedic. I work a 24 on- 48 off schedule and ever three weeks I get 5 days in a row off so I average a 48hr workweek. I average 9-10 workdays a month. Although some days I get my butt kicked at work some days, every days different. I get to see a lot of things you just would not believe. Some things are funny, some sad, and some you just shake your head.
Of course all this time off means I can do fifty bazillion other part time jobs so the chief financial officer of the house has more money to spend!
I do get to play at farming and carpentry so I get a variety. I'm not any where near being a millionaire but I don't worry about food on the table and I like what I do which is about as important as the pay to me. Keep looking until you find something that you can be happy doing. Btw what Oh. city are you near? I'm in Delaware Co.

Today's Featured Article - Listening to Your Tractor - by Curtis Von Fange. Years ago there was a TV show about a talking car. Unless you are from another planet, physically or otherwise, I don’t think our internal combustion buddies will talk and tell us their problems. But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo. ... [Read Article]
