You should make a distinction between a field or brush mower and a finishing mower. Most 8', single blade rotary mowers are intended for field use, and will not give you a clean, neat cut on your lawn. Finishing mowers are used on lawns and usually have two or more blades to cover a wide swath. Either type can be used with your tractor.
