Wow - you just recalled my 42yrs in perfect order!! You must have been watching from the side lines or maybe were just normall Americans. The problem can be spelled simply, "no one wants to take responsability for thier own actions" period. And when you add in that they really did something stupid or a lawyer heres about the what happened and knows how to make a quick $$$$$$$$ we the consumers pay for it. Do you know that 75% of the cost of a new small airplane like a Cessna is strickly for liability. They know up front that someone will crash and the company will get sued even if it was pilot error. My dad was a highly respected airplane mechanic instructor at the local collage and a FAA certified inspector on the side. He had to quit doing inspecting because 3 planes he certified crashed do to pilot error however he could not risk all he had worked for to a sharp lawyer and a dumb jury! America has created a monster in that if you don't sue first you may get sued and it must be delt with. I like caps on damages and caps on lawyer fees, if you take away the easy money the system will take a turn for the better. I now will get off the soap box and go to bed, and thank's for getting me going I'll never get to sleep!!!

In addition to years and years of scuffing and fading, they had paint splattered on
