Wayne, I'm just up I-85 from you and have to agree 100%. No-one will take responsibility for their own actions. If you do something stupid and get hurt it must be someone else's fault. I've worked for myself most of my life, but warked for Kimberly-Clark for a while. They had a rule that said all forklift operators must blow the horn before coming thru a doorway. Some didn't, so they changed the rule to say all operators must stop before going thru a doorway. I protested, I said if an operators fails to blow the horn, warn them once, fire them for the second offense. I will dare say the problem would stop after the second offense, but all the folks on the safety group were afraid they might break a rule themselves sometime and didn't want to take a chance on getting fired. The word "wrong" has been taken out of our language.
