Glad to hear you weren't serously hurt, Ray. Thanks for reminding us to be careful out there. Just last week I was raking hay for a neighbor using an old Ford Powermaster and a 503 side delivery rake. I shut the tractor down to talk to the neighbor who was going out to bale and it wouldn't start. I was on an incline so I put t in 5th and thought that I had a little bit of throttle on. Turns out I had it at full throttle! It started up and took off like a bat out of hell and I must have looked like one of those bareback riders at the rodeo, body parallel to the ground, feet straight out, etc. Luckily I got into a position where I could throttle 'er back. I reckon it was just fatigue from rakin' in 95F temperatures. I was fine after I cleaned out my shorts!
