Go look at it,when dealing with hay and the public you will really get your eyes opened. Tell him to show you the problem and make sure it was yours. Also if you sold it for $2.00 and delivered it aand stacked it he got a steal either way. word of mouth will make or break you. You should be getting at least 2.50 at the field period in my opinion. This does two things in my operation as its what I specialize in. First it takes care of the ones who always find something wrong with it to get it cheap, and it also gets you the one who really want to have good hay or straw period. I have heard it all I feel like. I would buy him out and let him keep the load if its what he says. Funny thing is what I have also learned is when you do this and you go visit sometime you will most always find that he fed the hay anyway with no trouble, or he RESOLD IT!!!!! Just remember him as a seller beware customer. Good Luck, ps,this is just another word of advice, don't be selling to friends at one price and customers to another,I know it seems the nice thing to do but IT WILL COME BACK TO GET YA,like I said before, word of mouth. Same price period. I also had a fellow that sounds just like yours so the next time he wanted a small load cheap,I made him get a wagon somewhere and he had to load it. (He only stacked 50 bales)seen the hay before and after baling. After that one load never had problem again and he is regular all time now.

I’d probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this “green planet”. I’m par
