Hay problem, need advice(kinda long post)

I posted a question awhile back on what to sell small squares of grass hay for. 1st cutting I baled about 900 bales, good dry grass/mix hay. I only use about 800 per year. So, I sold about 350 bales, figuring I"d keep the rest of what I need out of the next cutting. Now it starts to get fun. 700 bales came off the last field I baled, 400 of those I kept and stored. Since I"m redoing my barn, I"m storing my hay about 12 miles away. So on saturday (this was about a month ago) I had three loads left to bale. my neighbor seen me coming by with hay and asked if I could sell him a load. It worked out great cause I only had two racks, and i didn"t have to drag one so far to unload it. I"m friends with him so I sold the hay for 1.75 bale. I finished the field on the two racks, brought them home and put them in the shed. I had another guy call, come look at the hay, and decide he wanted it for 2.00 bale. I delivered and stacked it. Now I"m getting calls that the hay is heating and molding.
The wierd part is that the 400 bales I kept were dry the load I sold the neighbor is good and dry.
And these were the last loads baled, no rain, warm and windy day. I"m sure this guy wants me to give him some money off on the hay, but my thinking is that I should just go get the hay and give him his money back. I"m convinced there"s nothing wrong with the hay, so I may as well feed it out. Am I thinking right, or what should I do? I hate to go and move the hay again, but it"s almost a matter of pride.
