Sounds like a stuck clutch. Block the clutch down overnight, or a few days if you can afford to and see if it unsticks. If that does not work - go to the 9N/2N/8N message board and do a search of the archives for "Stuck Clutch" and you will find pages of ideas from others to fix this ranging from semi-safe to dangerous. If you are not going to use your tractor for quite some time, it is a good idea to block the clutch down to the foot board to keep this from happening. Good luck, Dan
