I had the same experience on a JD 750. With the loader on, there was no way to add suitcase weights, and no wheel weights available. I loaded the front tires and it helped quite a lot, even with the very small tires. Weights are the better alternative IF it's possible to use them, as CaCl is hard on rims, and with weights, you have the option of taking them off easily.
