Dave: I assume you have the gear reduction hubs and all the bits. The book says you have to make a shallow pass, then a deeper one until you hit the depth you want. Engine speed is full blast and adjust the shield so you're not heaving dirt into the neighbours's yard and watch out for rocks. Bad medicine. Probably start at a center line going longway on the piece you want to work and work out from the center. You'll do fine. Tom
