Find ya a pre-98 Cummins..the ones after that had some trouble with their elec. lift pump goin bad and meltin down the injector pump..could be avoided,but ya had to keep a watch on that fuel pressure..the 97 and older had a good old mechanical lift pump and are reliable as they can be.. I"ve got a 97 4x4 ex. cab dually and love it..had a 95 before that,it was a great truck too... I had a 7.3 ford,before I got that 95 dodge,it ran and pulled good,but never got the mileage that these Cummins get..
