Man if this isn't a prime example of our justice system in action.... This Alleged guy allegedly hit your mail box, allegedly because he was drunk, and allegedly admitted to doing it.....Remember, he has a right to a fair trial before a jury of his peers before he can be accused of anything and his confession doesn't count because he can't incriminate himself and he was also drunk at the time and wasn't mentally capable of knowing what he was doing when he confessed......Man what a crock of bull sh--...I say if somebody confesses their guilty. If they confess why do we then need to prove that they did in fact do what they said they did. That's like these news anchors watching a video of a guy robbing a bank or whatever, where he is plainly showing his face to the camera. Personally if you've got his pic then he's guilty, why wastemoney on a trial to prove that that was really him instead of his evil twin brother that recently returned to this country from BFE.... Personally I'd talk to the DA. Tell them your gonna drop your charges, if you pressed any, and that if they want to try him for DUI then that's their business. Obviously they did the required testing or they wouldn't have arrested him, so they don't need you for anything anyway. Not to mention you have to make a living and pay taxes to pay for this guys jail stay, the judges salary, the salaries of all the other assorted flunkies, and on and on and on..........MAN I JUST HATE STUPID GOVERNMENT
