Good lookin rig there Allan,my dad had one real similiar to yours,but his was a V10,as they say,pass anything but a gas station :-) the hitch in mine looks similiar to yours,but my ball has a square end on it,drops down in a square hole,then then pin locks it in thru the side above the tire..one word of advice,keep a little grease on that ball when ya drop it in that socket..mine looked like it hadn"t used in years when I got it,took me HOURS of penetrating oil and a 12 lb. sledge laying on my back to get that upside down ball back out of it"s socket..works good now though :^) thanks for posting it, Tim
