Bob - Thanks for the reply. Don't really know if the sending unit/gauge worked or not.
Bought the truck with the head off. I tried to make sure the gauge worked when putting in the pump but never got it to read like I thought it should. It did work, sort of, but never showed clear full. I tried adjusting the float arm and such. Guess I should have figured as much. Still wondering if the stuff from a 20 gal tank will work.
Or maybe I could swap a 20 gallon tank into the truck?
