I told ALL family and friends a long time ago (and remind them from time to time) that I do not loan money or tools to friends and family because of the potiential hardship it can create. This way, if the do ask, all I have to do is remind them of the policy I have already stated - this makes that akward moment MUCH easier. If family member really gets in a bind (and they deserve it) I will just give them the money with no strings attached. So far it has worked out very good - much better then doing something you don't really want to do in the first place, then steaming about it for years when something DOES happen. Good luck, Dan
