The oil companies are making obscene profits this year, its all coming right out of your pockets and mine. I used to be a fan of Bush, but as he hasn't done anything to reign in the pillaging that the oil companies are doing I have lost a lot of respect for him. The oil industry is going to find itself regulated with a limit on what their profit can be per gallon if they don't watch out. 60 Billion in profit, and I think that was just for the first half or first 3 quarters of this year between the 3 ( I think ) big oil companies. Sure, the hurricanes hurt production capability, yes China and India are using more oil so crude prices might go up with more worldwide demand...but when the big domestic oil companies are making that much money in spite of all that, they are making at the expense of you and I.
