Having grown up on raw milk and also milked my own, I like the idea of not having to buy it at the store. Having worked for years in a hospital laboratory I have also seen what the naked eye cannot. Small pasteurization units are available and I would use one just for the peace of mind, especially for the sake of little ones. We also used a hand crank cream separator. It leaves you with cream so thick you have to spoon it, and skim for the pigs to thrive on. Make your own butter and enjoy.
