The way the law should be written, is that on private property taken by eminent domain, and especially for sports use, that the original owners should receive a percentage of the profits from such use for however long the facility is used. Or that land condemned for sports facilites be priced at 3X, 5X, 10X, times the value of property legitimately bought. If these teams and their owners have the money to pay for their sports "heroes" and their criminal activities, they have the money to compensate the property owner. Lastly, their should be an amendment in each states constitution prohibiting tax dollars from being used to build professional sports facilites. Let the companies that purchase the naming rights to the stadiums go one step further and build the facility.
