I have a Deutz DX140 that I use every summer to both cut and bale. I change the oil in the spring before hay-season. This is the only time I put oil in this engine. This engine is a turbo-charged 6-cyl. with 4586 hours on it and here in humid Arkansas, it sees it's amount of heat. I'm not sure what you are getting at with you dirty oil comment, but other than row-cropping, I'm not sure you're going to get any dustier than haying.
