Most likely it is your clutch drive disc that is placed on the crankshaft incorrectly. Open up the clutch and remove the outer disc so you can see the clutch drive disc. (the one that is fitted to the crankshaft on splines) You will note that one side of the drive disc is heavily weighted. Mark the center of this weighted area with an ink pen. Rotate the engine so that # 2 piston (right side) is at TDC. The line you have drawn on the weighted section of the drive disc should now be toward the back of the tractor, or as you view it, at the 9:00 position. If not, pull the drive disc off and rotate it until it corresponds with the above suggestion. Our "G" was the same when we bought it. It was about one fourth turn off. Not real difficult to repair. Sure makes a difference in the way it runs. Have Fun!!!
