Just got rid of my new 79 Chevy 1/2 ton 4X4 great truck but could not handle the loads I needed to pull. Also was a little fancy for me! Now I got a real Chevy it is a 1977 1 Ton 4X4 with a 454, 395 HP, Posi Rear End, 4.10 Gears and Duels on the back. Real Clean truck completely gone thru, new paint and interior, fully rebuit fron one end to the other for $4,000.00 and no tax! It will blow the doors off my newer 1998 Dodge 3/4 ton 4X4 360 Gas Magume in all respects and not even 1/3rd the cost. Won"t go down in value unless I wreck it and my Dodge has lost more value in the last year than I paid for the Chevy!! Course it get 3 mpg less but the Dodge can"t pull a load either. Last time I buy a new truck there a total rip off as far as I am concern. If you could see this 77 Chevy you would understand. It is nicer then the 79 was and dosen"t have all the chrome stuff on it.
