Well - to each his own! Mine has th 5.4 V8. My other Ford is a 1999 EB Expedition. I've got 150,000 on it with ZERO problems. I have had chevy and DOGdge before and will never go back (unless it's free). We all have our favorites! It's all in how you take care of them - I change the oil every 3500 miles (I use Wally World Super Tech oil, by the way) and do PM work as I go. Most of the miles have been pulling a trailer and carrying a loaded rack & tool boxes. I've just this past week taken the boxes/rack off since both of us have "retired".
