I had a head gasket blow on an old 86 K-car I had a few years ago, it was just over the 120k mile mark. Put the headgasket on and it went for a couple more years no problems. I just had the head shaved to make sure it wasn't warped, head was good. Used it as a part trade on an 88 caravan. Car still lasted a couple more years. I think if you have something in decent shape its worth the money fixing it and knowing what you have. Like others have said. Them 2.2 and 2.5 were well known to blow head gaskets. Where would you find what Chryslers Hidden Warrenty??
