I have to agree with Dave. First one with the money gets it BUT please hold it if I am on the road to your house. In your case I would contact the guy that sent the $500. Tell him he does not need to pick it up until ???????????? but full payment needs to be here in 7 days or you will loose your deposit. I usually do not take deposits. I realize that it is hard to go several states over to pick something up so I will allow something to sit in my yard for a set time as long as payment has been made in full.
