I am not specifically familiar with your loader. Westendorf has a similiar setup. It is needed because when unhooking the loader you need control of the cylinders so the hoses need to reach as you back away. Sounds like you are using good sense. Would for sure suggest that you keep the separate valve (controller) I have never been able to use the tractor remote valves very well to feather as well as a separate loader dedicated valve. hope this answer isn't to muddy jt
