I have an 01 1/2 ton dodge v8 5 speed 4x4 with 8ft box. It's a tough simple truck it has no trouble hauling 10 round bales on a trailer and it can carry a ton of feed with no problems. If you have a good reputable auto dealer in your area tell them what you want. They have access to auction lists and can find that rare 4x4 work truck, especially if you have 6 months. My wife sells cars and does this all the time for customers.
