Howdy ya'll, First off, make sure this dosen't get into a brand war, and sorry for the off topic post, but it will be a farm truck. I jus' need honest opinions on what has worked and what hasn't for you. Background on use: Will need to pull a trailer with a 1000 to 1500 pound mower, plus traler weight, and other small items for mowing lawns. Will also need to haul 'bout half pallet of seed soybeans, wheat, and corn, as well as pull around empty grain wagons. Also, a daily driver for school, FFA, and other after school activities. Things I want: Four wheel drive is a must, going through fields, and going to worksites. Regular cab, longbed. Standard is preferrable, but automaitc will be allright. I am open to all brands, for now. Don't think anything below a half ton will do the job, but I could be wrong. Also, nothin' above a 3/4 ton. Open to diesel, as well as gas. Can't think of anything else now, but ask questions if ya' have 'em. Keep in mind this is NOT a wanted ad. Please don't tell me what you have for sale, or friends have for sale. Don't need it for at least 6 months. Thanks a bunch, an' sorry again for the OT post. JohnDeereGreen

We have already talked about some of the colors the unit might leave as clues to its well-being. Now we are going to use our noses to diagnose particular smells. ELECTRICAL SMELLS
