Rodney, I've got three of the things right now working in conjunction with our phone bank network. They ran 'bout $700 apiece for the equipment/setup and they range from roughly $49 to $69 a month for service depending on the original length of the plan. The 3-year contract is the cheapest. The only thing I don't like about Starband is their payment setup. I have to send three separate checks; can't pay 'em all on one 'cause they seem to loose track of which account is what. :>) They work great except in wet, heavy snows which block the signal. If I had it to do over again, I'd mount the silly things at ground level on a concrete pad. I don't know if your wife's venture is going to be service critical or not, but if it is, don't forget to buy yourself a generator to power the dishes, modems and/or computers. Since we here absolutely cannot "be down", ours paid for it's purchace price the first morning we used it. Allan
