No need to swap the computer. The computers are the same for all size engines in a given truck. It's the PROM or chip that you can change. The computer will widen the injector pulse width to compensate for the added fuel requirements of the larger engine. If you feel it is down on power after drivin it though, you can buy a 350 PROM for your year truck at the GM dealership for about 70 dollars. Most folks who do the swap, are happy with how it runs and never feel the need to swap to the bigger PROM though.
