from what i know of it, the NAIS is gonna 'sweet talk" every animal owner into believing that it is just for tracking disease outbreaks. what a bunch of bull. if you all believe anything them NAIS people say, then i got a bridge for sale and ocean front property in Neveda for ya. i believe it all about taxation of animals. once the NAIS knows what and where the animals are, they are goining to be tracked via GPS and then it will be easy for the animal cops to slap taxes on us. they will eventually be able to control ANY and all movement of animals and have the right to confiscate and/or slaughter any supected sick animals. even trading animals among neighbors and friends will be taboo. this is one subject that really raises my hackles. more government controls and intervention in our lives. it is NOT needed on any scale. and BTW, guess who is going to pay for all the paperwork and tagging for the animals.... right! we are, as usual. write your congressman NOW and ask more information as several states already have controls in place. after this, human tagging and tracking is next. don't play dead on this one. Write and call your local, state, and federal officials NOW. this was all slipped in real quietly and they ( NAIS) was hoping to get it in place before many folks know about it.
