OT: Pickup beds with folding sides?

Howdy, ya'll. I've seen pickup beds with folding sides in use on little diesel pickups in Africa. Anyone know if these were ever available here in the States? The tailgate folded down like a normal tailgate, then both sides would fold down all the way, too, to give a perfectly flat bed. The sides and tailgate were latched 'up' with simple hitch pins. The whole bed rode up higher than a normal bed (to get over the wheel wells, I reckon. They weren't pretty, but they sure looked useful. Thanks, Darren
